Nice

We had a couple days off for Easter, so we headed up to the French Riviera in search of warmer weather.

The pedestrian only streets in the center of Nice are lined with lots of shops, restaurants and street vendors.

Gubbio

The last of the major hill towns in Umbria that I had yet to visit was Gubbio, so we headed out on a Monday afternoon.

Lugano

Alex had a three day break in his schedule, so we headed up to Milan to visit friends. We spent a beautiful afternoon in Lugano, right on the other side of the border between Italy and Switzerland.

There was some bike race going on when we arrived. You can see Lake Lugano behind the spectators.
