Spring!!!!!

It is a short 15 minute walk to the center of Vigevano from our apartment. Now that spring has arrived, we come here for lunch every day.

The Bookstore

There is a bookstore in the center of town that has an indoor playroom in the back. It was such a lifesaver, given our tiny apartment and the cold, dreary, rainy winter weather.

The cold and rainy weather prevented us from playing outside everyday, so we had to make do with our tiny apartment living room.

France & Monaco

Alex had the weekend off, so we took a quick trip down to France. We booked a hotel in an old medieval village called Eze.

The hotel is inaccessible by car so they use these two donkeys to carry the guests' bags. It was drizzling when we arrived, so no donkeys for us.

We were able to fit in a quick visit with Alex's uncle Miche so that Jacob could meet his great-uncle for the first time.


On our way home, we made a quick stop in Monte Carlo.

Jacob was totally fascinated by the waterfall in front of the casino. The cars, shops, yachts...not so much.

It finally stopped raining...

So we went outside to survey our domain.


We walked out the front door.


Walked across the street and threw our hat on the ground.

We even made a quick trip into Milan. Last time we were here, the duomo was covered for cleaning. It looks so different!

Returning to Italy
